Black Cat Scrapbooking

http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/Black-Cat-Scrapbooking
Starting my own business was a dream that I'd had for a long time and didn't really think was going to come true. I did lots of research on the internet visiting websites, forums and blogs, going on a Women into Business course and doing quite a bit of paper planning on my own beforehand.

However, Black Cat Scrapbooking was born around 2/12 years ago when an opportunity arose and I started selling wedding place cards on Ebay.

I then decided to open an Ebay shop and expand on my range. I now have around 40 regular listings which are mainly craft related products.

I really love working from home because of the flexibility and freedom it gives me and I'm always there for Sam.
Bye for now

About Me

Hi There! My name is Sarah and I live in South Wales with my partner Paul and son Sam.

I became interested in card making around 7 years ago when I joined the Paper Mill shop at McArthur Glen Bridgend as a part time Sales Assistant. I have since then also enjoyed scrapbooking as a hobby.

I was asked about 5 years ago if I would like to share my skills and start tutoring classes for Adult Community Education. I started tutoring a beginners class in 2007 which was very successful and then went on to tutor an intermediate class the following September.

Alongside my tutoring, I also run my own busy little Ebay shop called Black Cat Scrapbooking which sells various Scrapbooking and Card Making Supplies including Spellbinders and Tim Holtz Items. I reached Powerseller Status nearly 2 years ago and achievement which I am incredibly proud of. I also work at a local Social Club twice a week.

Due to these commitements, I felt I could no longer stay at the Paper Mill Shop as an employee and left after 21/2 years.

I am also busy with my family and all of the commitments that go with that so I don't stop really!

I thought I would start a blog to keep a record of my card making and scrapbooking makes and maybe to inspire others to have a go and also to sell items that that I stock.

Bye for now!
